In 2022, Penta Laser successfully completed the transformation to a joint-stock company, implemented executive equity incentives, introduced strategic venture capital, and entered into guidance for listing. It plans to apply for IPO in 2023.
In December of last year, Penta Laser completed the acquisition of controlling stake in Jinbofang, a new energy battery laser welding company, and completed the financing work before the listing application. In order to quickly enter the field of laser cutting for new energy batteries and expand future growth opportunities, Pentium Laser achieved control over Shenzhen Jinbofang Laser Technology Co., Ltd. ("Jinbofang") through the acquisition of equity and cash capital increase. Penta Laser now holds a 60% stake in Jinbofang. According to profit forecasts, the company is expected to achieve a net profit of around 30 million yuan in the next three years.
In addition, Penta Laser has completed the financing work before the listing application and raised a total of 170 million yuan. The investment institutions involved are CITIC Securities Investment Co., Ltd., Wenzhou Junquan Xinyuan Investment Partnership Enterprise (Limited Partnership), Hangzhou Fuzhe Daozheng Equity Investment Partnership Enterprise (Limited Partnership), Zhejiang Shegui Industrial Development Partnership Enterprise (Limited Partnership), as well as three shareholders of the acquired company Jinbofang, namely Qin Xiaoming, Luo Yusen, and Huang Tao. The corresponding total shareholding ratio is 12.44%.
